Accessories Studio Assistant Placement 

The role will be quite general and you will be working across production, design, sales and marketing so suitable for somebody who is looking to gain insight to how a small fashion brand operates on a day to day basis.

The student must be of a friendly disposition with a can do attitude and able to multitask.

Tasks include:

  • Helping on production line,
  • Working with leather- training will be given
  • Researching materials/archiving fabrics
  • Helping with toiling
  • Making sample prototypes

What you will learn:

  • You will learn how to edge paint leather
  • How to cut and assemble small leather goods and bags
  • How to pattern cut
  • How to toile
  • How to use leather machinery

Embroidery Production Placement

Ralph & Russo are offering a student work placement opportunity for a current Fashion/Embroidery Production student to join their amazing atelier for 3 or 6months.

Internship will consist of the following:

-Creating embroidery sampling packages to go overseas

-Responsible for cutting fabrics, leasing with the atelier for patterns, preparing embroidery materials for swatches, generating AWBs and sending courier details to sampling factories

-Checking/Quality control of all embroideries which are received in house

-Involved in thorough stock checks on materials, beads and feathers

-Liasing with embroidery manufacturers

-Support Embroidery Production team in developing embroideries for SS17 couture runway collection and bespoke client orders
