This year’s London Fashion Week will take place in September from Friday 14th to Tuesday 18th at The Store Studio, 180 Strand, London WC2R 1EA. As usual, in this edition we will find some of the most known designers in the world as well as very promising young designers. It is a regular at London Fashion Week to launch hostilities since Richard Malone will be the first designer to present a catwalk. In fact, he had great success during his last fashion show at the 2017 Fashion Week and had competed for the 2017 LVMH Award. Therefore, we will be expecting a lot from him as he has created a piece specifically for the New York Museum of Modern Art…
On Saturday, the famous Molly Goddard should steal the show. In 2016 Molly won the British Emerging Talent award at the 2016 Fashion Awards and is a 2017 LVMH Prize finalist. She will have to share the title with Halpern, who will also be eagerly awaited
thanks to her parade last year, warmly praised by many media outlets such as the New York Times, the Business of Fashionz, Vogue Runway and many more. Sunday as well as Monday will be marked by many young designers but especially by fashion essentials like Victoria Beckham, Burberry or Maison Margiela.
To end the week, we will attend the parades of Nabil Nayal and OnIOnff Presents. Nabil Nayal is a designer who has already won many prizes, obsessed with Elizabethan craftsmanship. Also, Nabil was an LVMH Prize finalist in June 2017 and was invited to present his work at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris. Stars of the design world, including Maria Grazia Chiuri and Phoebe Philo, fell in love with Nabil’s work, as did guest of honor, pop superstar Rihanna. OnIOff Presents will end this Fashion Week by presenting the work of promising designers LongshawWard, Colin Horgan, Daniel Pascal Tanner, IA London and Chocolab.
